BUSINESS CHALLENGE

Priority Supply is a West Michigan based industrial distributor that assists manufacturers with maintaining and tooling their automatic equipment.  With an ever shrinking and increasingly competitive Automotive industry, Priority Supply is able to continue to grow by expanding its market range. “Growing my company and being competitive in today’s business environment requires me to travel from New York to Nebraska. Kore / Hi Com has given me the ability to be in sync with my office by the minute” says President James Byl.

NETWORK SOLUTION

“Based on Priority’s business needs—immediate access to up to up to date customer records from anywhere by anyone in the company — we recommended a centralized mail server and a Palm Treo 700wx,” says Jerry Mull, account executive with K/HC. The centralized server enables employees to record changes to  customer records as they happen. And workers can gain remote access to corporate databases with mobile smart phones and  know that the information they are working with is up to date.

BUSINESS RESULTS

“Now, when a customer calls,” says Byl “we have a way to provide them far better service then our competitors. In addition, I can  service my customers even when I’m out of town growing my business”.  Employee productivity has also improved because of the increased commitment to maintaining up-to-date centralized information bases.

NEXT STEPS

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is the next IT project for Priority Supply.  This addition will leverage the centralized/shared company databases already in place, enabling  Priority Supply become even easier to do business with.
